Saturday 2nd February – Chess and Draughts Competitions

Saturday 8th March – Group Jumble Sale

Akela pointed out that several people have lost their passwords and can’t see the pictures.

District Badge Day October 28, 2007

District badge day is to be held on Saturday 17th November.

An opportunity for cubs to gain a badge/s by attending a badge testing session. Session One 10am – 12  Session Two 2pm  -4pm

Badges this year that are available for cubs to work towards include

Art, Road Safety, Scientist, DIY & Home safety, IT stage ONE.

If any cubs wish to do any of the above badges they need to let akela know. But before choosing check out the requirements.

Thank you to the parents/ members and leaders who supported the group this weekend with collecting, sorting , selling and cleaning at the group jumble sale.

A lot of hard work for everyone involved, we managed to raise 853.21 minus rent cost etc.

Once again on behalf of the group thank you for all your hard work and dedication your support is greatly appreciated by every leader and young person.

Jumble Sale / Group AGM October 11, 2007

Parental support is required at this weekends Jumble Sale.

Collecting or sorting jumble on Friday 12th October and also any helpon Saturday morning sorting and selling at 1pm on Saturday.

Leaders cant do all the work themselves and we ask that you do support the young people who are members of the group.

Without support fundraising can’t be done and camp equipment and minibuses cant be kept up to date.

If you require any more information then dont hesitiate to email me

 

Annual General Meeting will be held for all parents / members / families

on Friday 19th October 7.45pm for an 8pm start.

this is the chance for everyone to hear and see what all sections have been doing in thepast 12 months.

Guy and Timmy who both attended the World Scout Jamboree will be showing slides on their memories of their trip
