Congratulations to Tawny and Kek (Claire Messer & Dave Kettle) our Explorer leaders. Who got married on Saturday at St David’s Church.

Thank You to all members who attended to form a Guard of Honour on leaving church.

Claire looked fantastic on her special day and the Men and Charlie all looked amazing in matching suits.

We all wish Tawns and Kek the best for their future happiness.

Im glad to say Tesco have now joined Sainsbury’s in allowing Scout groups to collect the Sports equipment Vouchers.

We had superb support when we collected the Sainsburys vouchers and we are awaiting the delivery of our new equipment.

Now is the chance for members to collect TESCO VOUCHERS for the group.

I know there isnt a local tesco store to our area but it would be hoped that we can collect as many vouchers as possible.

Vouchers should be handed in to section leaders at weekly meetings, or placed in the envelope in the kitchen of the church hall.

Well done to the cubs who took part in todays 7 aside football tournament.

Kallam D, Joe B, Anthony T, Christian C, Thomas P, Liam FW, jack W

they played many games through the tournament whcih was hard work, especially with no substitute players.

They won their league with 4 wins, scoring 7 golas, conceding 0

Losing in the quarter final to ariel on penalties

but winning the 3rd/4th play offs against Phoenix cubs.

Quinton won a hard final against ariel 2-1.

The boys did superbly well and we are all very proud of them

well done!!!

I am very glad to announce that St Davids cub pack will be joined by New Leaders this term.

All 5 have been cub Helpers for a while now; and have agreed to take on being WARRANTED ASSISTANT CUB SCOUT LEADERs.

i would like to thank them all and welcome them to the pack

Amy Burchill / Llinos Evans / Sarah Cross / Jackie McCartney / Phill Pitt

This doesnt however mean we don’t wish parents still to support the pack all the help you can offer is always greatly appreciated.

The leaders will all now take on adult training and make their Scout Promise.

All leaders in the pack do have Jungle book names the cubs are to be asked to help them in their Decisions.

Amy already has her name - TABAQUI

Other names include - Chil / Hathi / Ikki / Kaa / Kim / Mang / Mowgli / Rahska / Rama / Rikki Tikki Tavi

We wait now to see what cubs call them.
