Birmingham Light Parade November 22, 2006

Posted by akela in : Cubs , trackback

On Sunday 10th December 2006, starting at 5:30 pm, a procession of more than 25 illuminated boats will light up the main line canal in the Broad Street area (between NIA and Mailbox); and there’ll be a spectacular fireworks finale.

Musicians and street artists will provide entertainment. There’s fun for all the family throughout the day in the Broad Street area, including Santa and his reindeer in Brindley Place, outdoor ice skating in Centenary Square, food and entertainment.

This is an annual event with free admission.

Members of the District will be entering a fully decorated boat, promoting Rea Valley District and Scouting.

Why not come along and enjoy a spectacular event and cheer on the District and Scouting as they pass by.
