Spot the cub November 28, 2006
Posted by akela in : Cubs , comments closedI’ve been looking at all the photos that have been put up recently.
There are a few faces I recognise – they are now scouts and some are brothers of present cubs.
Who do you recognise?
If you recognize anyone let them know and tell them to register on the site to take a look.
Old photos
Posted by martin in : Cubs , comments closedI posted some photos from 1999 – that’s seven long years ago – to the cub photo album.
The photos are from Westaway 1999 and from a camp at Kibblestone, near Stafford.
Enjoy the photos. Remember – be kind! Everyone is seven years older now.
If you know any of the cubs in the pictures – let us know what they are up to now!
Remember – to see the photos you need to be registered and logged in.

Birmingham Light Parade
Posted by akela in : Cubs , comments closedOn Sunday 10th December 2006, starting at 5:30 pm, a procession of more than 25 illuminated boats will light up the main line canal in the Broad Street area (between NIA and Mailbox); and there’ll be a spectacular fireworks finale.
Musicians and street artists will provide entertainment. There’s fun for all the family throughout the day in the Broad Street area, including Santa and his reindeer in Brindley Place, outdoor ice skating in Centenary Square, food and entertainment.
This is an annual event with free admission.
Members of the District will be entering a fully decorated boat, promoting Rea Valley District and Scouting.
Why not come along and enjoy a spectacular event and cheer on the District and Scouting as they pass by.
