Christmas Party

Well if you haven’t been told yet your son must have been gagged. Our night started off really well, until we had a power cut whilst bowling. We then had to re enter all the cubs names into the computers and then re started our games. THEN another power cut and then entering the names in again. We thought this is going to be a great night. It happened again, NO!!!!!!! Then the leaders /helpers lanes broke down. Then YES again we had another power cut. ARGHHHHHHH
We eventually had leaders having to play with the cubs and eventually we all finished our games. WHAT A NIGHT! Hopefully the cubs enjoyed themselves.
Thank you to all the cubs and parents for the presents and cards all the leaders received.
All have a great Christmas and New Year and we return on Tuesday 10th (not the 11th which was on the letter)

Carol Singing December 14, 2005

Posted by akela in : Cubs , comments closed

A smaller number of people joined us this evening for carol singing, yet another cold night but dry was had. Cubs collected 75.93 which is really great especially after a few residents were slightly rude and abusive to some cubs for knocking at their doors. Next year we will be singing in another area to avoid a repeat of this.
Thank you to all the cubs, parents and relatives for giving up their Wednesday evening to support the cubs.
A total of 178.70 was collected well done everyone!

Cake Decorating December 6, 2005

Well what a night of getting messy and feeling a bit sick.
Cubs seemed to enjoy making and decorating their own Christmas Logs.
I hope not too many cubs felt too sick when they got home as some had a sneaky lick of the fingers and some of the bowl whilst no one was watching.
Please don’t forget to support us with carol singing next Tuesday and Wednesday. Without your support we cant raise money, which pays for all the activities which the pack does. Without these funds parents would have to pay.
