Next Tuesday we yet again will be venturing outdoors for our evenings activity. We will be taking the cubs to Waseley Country Park to view the city by night and star gazing. We will meet in the church hall at 6.00pm for a prompt departure and return approximately 8.00pm.
At present we are awaiting confirmation from Waseley Parks that we can use their facilities so please be prepared that this may not take place. Also the activity can only be done if Dry.
Cubs need to wear cub’s jumpers and neckerchiefs and wrap up in a warm and waterproof jacket and bring some wellies or old trainers to change into on our arrival. Please provide a plastic bag to put dirty boots in afterwards. Provide your own drink.
We are in need of 4 parents to help in transporting cubs to the park, without your help we will not be able to take the cubs out. If you can help let me know ASAP. Again if we don’t get the help this event will have to be cancelled.
Cubs must pay subs on the night those of you who still haven’t paid their terms fees please do so next week. Subs still have to be paid if we are out of the hall.
Thank you to all the cubs that attended Remembrance parade on Sunday, the cubs behaved impeccably and it has been mentioned by the congregation on their good behavior.
Cubs that are attending badge day on Saturday must only attend the session which they have been placed in; they must also bring work that has been requested to be done before hand. 10.00am – 12.00 / 2.00pm – 4.00pm Please note parking is difficult so ensure you drop your son off in time for his badge session. Cubs must be in uniform please. If any cubs are stopping for both sessions please ensure you send a packed lunch or money for chips if you’re not collecting him. If your son is ill on the day then let me know as we have to pay for anyone that doesn’t attend.
If there are any more cubs wishing to attend the District trip to Brownsea Island please return your permission slip and payment next week.
